How Joe Barish Face It

Few days ago, a good friend, who knew about my (bad) love story suggested "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" to me. Kind of an old movie, i thought it first, just because the movie released in 2004. Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet played on it. Well, there were Elijah Wood and also Kirsten Dunst. But the good thing I also thought is, is there any Jim Carrey's movie which got a bad review? I don't think so. "Bruce Almighty", for example.

I'm not give any movie review, I won't. I just try to take a good or maybe great point which Joe Barish (Jim Carrey) did, just to make him sure he already forget his ex-girlfriend, Clementine Kruczynski (Kate Winslet).

What Joe Barish felt, just the same like what I felt. Tears fell down again and again, like it never be finished. The truth is I'm sick with all of this. But, like The Script said, how can I moved on when I still in love with you?

I watched it last night, without any expectation. I just saw it, only because my friend asked me to see it. I didn't think I'll get what my friend wants to me.

But, in the end of the movie, I was wrong. Totally wrong.

The fact, Joe Barish actually did some technical procedure to make himself forget all of his memories for his girlfriend, Clementine Kruczynski and finally successed. But in the end of this movie, he met again with her, with all new conditions, just like they never knew each other before. Until they got a letter and a record about their interview before that "brainwash" happened and realized that what they said in that interview was not the real thing they feel.

So what I got from this movie, the point is memories will never totally die or going somewhere. The more you run or hide, the more memories will find you. Just keep it going, everyday... it's ok, but apologize yourself day by day.

I know now. This is not about how hard you forget all of your memories, but how you thank to them who gave you some great adventures.

Well, memories isn't something I have to remove. I'll be fine with it. Just be grateful and do never erase it.
